Howdy-hoh, was geht'n so?
Ich hab mir von den Deftones den Text zu "My Own Summer! durchgelesen, und wüsste ma gern was ihr davon haltet, ich mein was er für nen tieferen Sinn hat, außer "Kiffen macht das Hirn flüssig".. ich komm da nicht drauf, hoffentlich hülft mir da mal eene(r).

naja, bin mir nicht sicher, ob chino sich bei jedem lied irgendwas tolles denkt ;-)
aber gehe mal von aus, dass er in dem song einfach nur beschreibt wie er sommer gerne hätte ->(no crowds in the streets and no sun) -> er bevorzugt schatten/dunkelheit halt eher vor licht (wie so viele ;-) ), deshalb will er auch keine sonne im sommer
(the shade is a tool, a device etc.)
